How do I fix 'You don't have sufficient access' or 'You don't have appropriate access privileges' in Finder on Mac?

I just started to get messages, that I don't have access in certain folders on my MacBook Pro.

I never had these issues before

what certain folders?

Command i opens the information pane— unlock the padlock if necessary(?)


if no resolve...(?)


old issue, new issue, what changed?


A SafeBoot Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support will sort many anomalies

Reboot as normal and test. Caches get rebuilt automatically.
