I have a work iPhone and iPad. When they were set-up, my texts were being sent to iPhone. Now my texts are going to the iPad and not the iPhone. I need all message to go to the iPhone.

Did you check on each of your devices, if in Settings/Messages/Send & Receive/ the correct phone number for the iPhone and no identical mail address is selected?
"Start New Conversation From" should also be set to the phone number on your iPhone.

If selected, taping on the phone number or email address will deselect it.
Your phone number should also be listed under Settings/Mobile Service, in case you have a cellular iPad, using a SIM card.
Both devices have a different mobile number. How do I change this?
Thank you, I have de-selected the wrong number. However, I am unable to add a different number of either device
You can only add new phone numbers, if you add another SIM to one of your devices. After activating the SIM, the number will show up in the settings and you can select it.
