My iPhone battery health degrading fast

Your phone is a hand held computer and computers will glitch from time to time, it's just the nature of the beast and can cause heavy battery usage. When this happens, try a forced restart to clear up the problem.

What are your charge cycles?

You can expect on average a drop of 1% for every 50 charge cycles. The Battery health is only updated when the battery has been able to charge to 100% to recalibrate. The drop is not linear and if the phone was prevented from charging to 100% by manually unplugging too soon, then you won't see the new Battery Health calibration adjustment until it has been allowed to charge to 100%. Even with the Charge Limit option, the phone will still occasionally charge to 100% to recalibrate the Battery Health.

I suspect you are somewhere around 200 charge cycles, which is perfectly normal. Your phone is expected to need the battery replaced after 1000 charge cycles.

Nope, it is not Malware or a Hack. Your phone is doing better than average and should actually be showing 95% Battery Health under normal use. Keep doing what you are doing and enjoy your phone.

This can happen. Battery health decline is not linear and can happen fast, and after that stand still for months
