I just purchased a MAC mini. How to I find the full details of what I purchased?

I purchased a MAC mini. The order confirmation only gives a summary. I need to know which hard drive will be shipped in the MAC mini.

Refurbished Macs ordered from Apple have no up-oder options. You cannot order one and then ask for add-ons. Neither can memory nor storage be upgraded after the computer goes onto the assembly line.

You get what Apple lists. If you need more memory or storage, you must look for another refurb listing that has what you need. Otherwise, you have to buy new from Apple using the configure-to-order options presented.

Refurbished Mac NOT purchased from Apple directly are always suspect.

You don't know what you ordered?

Contact the place where you bought the Mac. Use your order number to confirm the details.

Did you buy from Apple?

If you bought from Apple and the Mac is not what you expect, you have fourteen days to return it for refund. You can then buy what you needed.

If you purchased a current Mac mini, no mechanical hard drive will (or could) be shipped in the Mac mini.

All current Mac minis ship with much faster solid-state drives (SSDs), and have no SATA drive bays inside. You would need to go back to the Late 2014 Mac minis, or earlier, to get a Mac mini with a mechanical hard drive.
