How can I find missing music playlist on my iMac M3 and iPhone 16?
My curated playlists are missing on both my 2003 iMac M3 and my iPhone 16. I am running Sequoia 15.5 and iOS 18.5.

move your mouse to the right side to reveal the caret and click it open if that is your issue

What is there is everything I have identified as a 'Blues' tune. Same with the other playlists listed. But over time I created a number of other playlists that had specifically selected songs. Those are gone.
I can likely make a new playlist and, yes, they were songs pulled in from the library.
I fear that music has been disappearing, too. I am about to getinto my bakups and see if anythng is there, IF I saved them in backup.
Probably. I am starting over with a new favorites playlist. Getting to know my music again.
I note that on my phone, I don't have any 'genre' playlists beyond '90's music and Classical. Top rated is there and recently added. But no 'rock', 'blues', 'reggae' or whatever. I don't have 'All' either and I used to do that a lot.
Did you unravel the Playlists in the sidebar of Music
That's it. All my curated playlists are gone along with the 'genres' tha used to be there.
The only things that show up are the playlist genres - Zydeco, Rock, Reggae, etc. None of my curated playlists are on my Mac or on my phone. And Apple's Genres are gone, too.
Not sure what you mean by that. Only playlists shown are music genres - nothing that I put together.
Perhaps you could post a picture of what you are seeing
If you click on Blues on the left, what shows up on the right?
Are your songs there?
Looks like there are 6+ gb in All Playlists, so I would think some of your Blues music should be there.
I assume this happened after the most recent OS and IOS updates ?
Can you make a playlist, in the playlist sidebar on the iMac ?
Also, in each of these playlists there is just a list of songs?
Did this happen after a OS and IOS backup?
