How can I recover disappeared notes after iOS 18.5 update?

Upon updating my iOS version to 18.5, my notes app bugged out and all my notes disappeared. Currently, the notes saved on my iCloud have reappeared but not the ones saved on my phone (which are my most important ones). I have tried everything but no luck. Please help with info on how to restore as they’re extremely important and work-related too.
