Macbook Pro M4 Max stop playing music with Dragonfly DAC and Audirvana

I bought a Macbook Pro M4 Max 2024 and it is my 4th Macbook Pro since 2008.

I play music using Audirvana and an USB DAC Dragonfly Cobalt from AudioQuest to my sound system. This setup has been working fine since 2020 with my old MBP i7 (2019). It plays music for as long as I am in the office, usually 6 to 8 hours per day..

Now the issue with the new MBP M4 Max:

While playing music and with the power cable connected to the MBP, every time I switch (on or off) a piece of equipment (room lights, printer, etc) the music stops as Audirvana loses track of the DAC. I have to unplug and plug back the DAC for Audirvana to 'see' it again and be able to restore playing.

This only happens when Power cable is connected (magsafe) to MBP regardless if it is active (led light orange or green) or not (unplugged from the wall). If the power cable is not connected to the MBP all is good.

Can someone from Apple please help?

Thanks

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 15.5
