Unable to add albums or create playlists to Apple Classical Library

I’ve seen from other users submissions that this is an issue. Following Apple Support’s instructions I tried to stop Sync Now in Settings though the toggle immediately switches back on. I’ve logged out of my account and force closed Apple Music/Apple Classical, updated to the latest software etc…. And still, albums I try to add to my library refuse to add despite the pop-up prompt stating “album added”. Also, attempt at adding a new playlist fails to create.
