Why do you believe this?

What exactly is happening?

If you believe your Apple account has b been compromised see the following support document.

While your account may be compromised, it is highly, highly unlikely your device is actually hacked, as that requires very expensive equipment, highly knowledgeable people that charge a lot for it and lots of time to perform, and will not generally be done on regular people.

Hacks are generally only performed on high value targets like diplomats, politicians, journalists or other important people that are worth a lot of money and going to all that trouble for it.

Sadly, or not, most regular folk simply are not worth the expense, time or trouble required to remotely hack an iPhone.

  • Account Compromised - Change the password.

Change your Apple Account password - Apple Support

  • Device Compromised by someone else having physical access to it - Change the passcode.

Set a passcode on iPhone - Apple Support

Problem solved! Your device is not being remotely hacked and if you received an email/message making that claim, be aware that it is a scam to either extort money from you, convince you to download software you do not need, or to phish for information that you will provide them.
