HOME app still tied to deceased relatives’ - delete app/ still receive notifications

Somehow my HOME app was tied to a relatives’. He no longer has an active account but hourly I receive notifications that his per room items are unavailable. It is a constant reminder that he is deceased. Tried deleting the app but notifications for his HOME continue. Any suggestion?
