How do I recover layout margins on my Pages documents?

Using Pages 13.1 on MacBook Air.

Transferred a Pages document from my iMac and all the visible document layout margins are not there anymore.

Tried the normal solution of View>Show Layout.

How do I get my layout guides back?

Thank You

A Pages layout format document will not show a layout outline with Show Layout, as would a Pages word processing document. In fact, with the former document type, the View menu has Show Layout disabled.

With rulers enabled, a Pages layout format document will allow you to set horizontal and vertical guides — as would a word processing layout document. In either case, those are saved with the document and are present on its reopening. If the guides are hidden, and shouldn't be unless you chose that option, you can show guides with View > Guides > Show Guides (^G).
