100,000 track limit and replacing uploaded tracks with Apple Music?

I keep a large library of uploaded music in my Apple Music account. I have long had issues with the track limit (it was initially 25,000!).

At this point I have to go thru and weed out items that are no longer of interest when I push against the limit, which is tedious.

One question is I have read differing things about whether the tracks that I add to my library that are in Apple Music count against the 100,000 track limit. I had thought that they do, but have ready to the contrary.

If they DO NOT count against my limit, is there a way to automatically or semi automatically replace my uploaded tracks wit hApple Music tracks?

Thanks
