Automatic backup suddenly stopped working on iPad

Always backed up in the past now second time it hasn’t. Nothing else has changed. iPad never leaves house were it is permanently connected to Wi-Fi

Automatic backup to iCloud may be suspended in some circumstances.


You can resume automatic backup to iCloud by manually forcing a backup from iPad settings - after which your iPad will continue to automatically backup when (a) the iPad is locked and connected to external power, and (b) more than 24 hours have elapsed since last performing a backup to iCloud.


Settings > [Your Name / Apple Account] > iCloud > iCloud Backup > Back Up Now
