Just purchased new iMac M4 chip - However I no longer have an option to open my scanner on my printer now (Canon MX492) - however the scanner still works fine on my old intel Mac 2017. I hate to have to buy a new printer. Is this a problem with the new Mx chips?

Downloaded; I can now see 'open scanner' option, however when I click on it it says no camera or scanner selected. Image capture is also empty. It's obviously me doing something wrong but not sure what :)
