Apple Music Favorites song for a few seconds then star disappears

Just got a new iPhone and now on Apple Music every time I favorite a song it’ll say “favorited” then a couple seconds later it disappears and the song doesn’t show up in the Favorites playlist. I’ve tried unsyncing and resyncing the library a couple times.

i am also only signed into my Apple ID on one device.

Favorite songs keep disappearing Occasionally, songs I add to favorites just disappear. It's not every song, but usually if I add a bunch of songs around 50 percent of them disappear and get unfavorited. Sometimes they come back to the playlist on their own; they just appear again randomly. They also come back to the playlist and get refavorited when I play the song. I've tried changing the setting on add favorites to library but that doesn't seem to change anything.

why is my phone adding random songs to my favorites playlist Ever since the addition of being able to favorite a song, I have had no issues with the concept except that it is adding random songs from my library to my favorites. Like most other posts about this update, I could live without the new feature and in particular I would prefer it if the feature is not going to work the way it should. What’s the point of favoriting songs if they just get mixed in with ones I do not want favorited. I’m curious is anyone else having this issue? And I already did research and some people said the problem was someone is downloading songs in my family and they are getting put into my phone but these songs are all songs I already have saved and I never had an issue with it before so I don’t think that’s quite the case here.

iOS 17.2 favorites playlist missing Hi all. I updated both my iPhone and iPad to 17.2. Both are using the same Apple ID. On iPad the new favorites playlist shows just fine but not on iPhone. Does anyone have an idea why this is happening? Any help is more than welcome. Thank you.
