How do I access and delete photos stored on Apple servers storage?

how do I access the apple servers that store my photos so I can sort through and delete the ones I don't want to save. trying to free up storage

I have been trying to log into iCloud to delete photos and video because I have reached my storage limit. I reached it a long time ago and Id like to make room for newer photos and videos. I have logged into what I thought was the right place, iCloud, but it is only showing that I have 10 items in the Library. Im pretty sure that these are the pics that have been stored on my Mac....so Im trying to find the thousands of pics and vids that are stored on the apple servers. Help?

Your storage space on Apple servers is only what you have at iCloud.com, there is no other location that Apple stores the photos. Make sure you are using the same Apple Account as your Mac. Photos from your Mac would only be synced to iCloud if you had iCloud Photos turned on. Once space is no longer available in iCloud, whether that is because it is full or you are no longer paying for the service, then photos will no longer sync to iCloud.

Do you still have those photos stored on your Mac in the Photos app?

As long as you are using Time Machine to backup your Mac, you can also restore your Photo Library that contained those Photos.
