NordVPN causing mouse jitteriness on Mac (Ventura 13.7.5) after installation

The various and massively-advertised “coffee shop” VPNs that are badly solving a problem that hasn’t existed for a decade or so, but are badly solving it in a way perfect to collect personally-identified data and metadata., while also adding overhead and variously causing problems?

Some of the “no-logs collected” VPN providers were also determined to be collecting metadata when their “non-existent” logs were found exposed on the ‘net.

Add-on anti-malware apps and add-on security apps are all to reminiscent of being malware.

Problems arising from add-on “coffee shop” VPN apps and add-on security apps are a regular feature around here, as well.

Unless you're using a true VPN tunnel, such as between you and your employer's, school's or bank's servers, they provide false security from a privacy standpoint.  Read these articles:  Pubic VPN's are anything but private and Security Risks: The Dangers of Using Free VPNs (eccu.edu).  

Also there's never a good reason to install and run any "cleaning", "optimizing", "speed-up"or anti-virus apps on your Mac.
