After years of playing Tetris on my iPhone 8+, since a few days ago the app will no longer load. I’ve tried rebooting. . . Still won’t load! Any suggestions? Has anyone else had this issue?

Solution: I just checked Classic Tetris in the app store. There's an UPDATE button on the game. I clicked, game updated, and Tetris is working once again. Yay!

I also checked the App Store and saw an available update for Tetris Classic! Clicked. . . Game updated. . . And I also, once again, am playing Tetris!
I finally was able to communicate with PlayStudios support. In their reply they asked which model iPhone and what iOS version I was using. I provided the info.
Last Wednesday I checked the App Store. There was an update available for Tetris!!!
Don’t know that the two occurrences are related. . . Just happy to have Tetris back up and working!
Try deleting the app and downloading it again from the App Store.
Go back to the App Store and search for the app, you should see developer contact information there as well. See this for extra help. How to contact an app developer - Apple Support

They asked for what model iPhone I’m
using and what iOS version.

Yes, still down for me. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and I updated the operating system on the phone. When I click to open Tetris, I get a black screen that disappears in a few seconds.
Same problem. I had it loaded on three iPads and my phone. One by one they have all quit working. Ive deleted and reloaded Tetris several times on each device with no result. Rebooting the devices doesn’t help. This is very annoying since I’m actually paying for the ad free version. The developer really needs to fix this.
To ChrisJ4203, Tracy-Finn, Stephascope-725, and TheDarkHelmet. . . Tetris Classic Free is still not working for me either.
According to version history as shown in the Apple App Store, Tetris was updated @ 4/30/25. Maybe that update is the cause. I’m going to contact PlayStudio. . . Though they state in the App Store that they don’t provide telephone support, I was able to track down a phone #.

The App Store does not provide support for 3rd Party apps. Unfortunately, you can only get support for the Tetris app from that apps developer as you were told before. I would try a couple of Google searches to try and find contact information about the developer.

Not suggesting I had anything to do with their providing an update that (at least for you and me) has allowed Tetris to load and function once again. 🎉🎈🥳
I suggest providing that feedback to the developer. They need to be made aware of these problems.

Tetris mobile app had an update 3 days ago which seems to coincide with the app not loading. Could be coincidence!
Tried to contact developer. Apparently one can access them through a link in the app… not too helpful if app won’t load!
