My visual renderers send me GLB files for inspection of my products. I have opened them many times over the years on my iMac. This morning, however, the file won't open. A window pops up saying I don't have the software to open it.
But my MacBook Pro will open the file.
It's strange how the MacBook Pro will, while my iMac no longer will.
Does anyone know why?

Have you tried manually opening them in from preview?
If you control-click one of the files and click open with, what does it say the default is?
Are you saying that Preview is not in the Open With menu in the Info pane for a GHB file?
What application do you normally use to open them?
There is no option anywhere to use Preview to open the file. I tried using Photos, so it's now the default, as you can see in the screenshot. I'm not sure how to remove Photos as the default, but I'm unsure if it matters, as I can't get it to be an option anyway.
Very strange on my MacBook, how Preview just opens the file. My desktop will not let me.
It usually automatically opens it in Preview.
It won't give me the option to open it in Preview. Weird.
You need to click on "Other", navigate to the Applications folder and select Preview.
