How can I make Microsoft Teams App work on my MacBook Air?

When I download the Microsoft Teams App to my MacBook Air, it lands in the dock but when I open it, it gives me an error message saying ' we've run into an issue and then restart' . Restarting it doesn't fix it. I have deleted the app, updated the MAC OS system and tried re downloading but it still doesn't work. It worked fine before but started doing this about 6 weeks ago. Any tips anyone??

Odd... works for me on an M3 iMac and an M4 MBA with no problems.


Delete the app again, then delete the following files (not all of them may exist)

~/Library/Caches/com.microsoft.teams 

~/Library/Caches/com.microsoft.teams.shipit 

~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams

~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/Application Cache/Cache

~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/blob_storage

~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/Cache

~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/databases

~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/GPUCache

~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/IndexedDB

~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/Local Storage

~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/tmp


After that, reboot your Mac, then reinstall Teams.
