Having issues changing the equalizer on Apple Music on Windows?

While using Apple Music on Windows, you might want to change the sound using the built in equalizer. Some may find is does not work.

FIX - in the Windows sound settings, change the music format to 32-Bit 44.1 (44100 HZ) or a lower frequency.

Apple Music will not support a higher frequency.

No manual adjustment of equalizer for Apple Music on Windows 10 I downloaded Apple Music last night. Everything synced up and the music plays. Went to adjust the equalizer to match what I had it set in iTunes and could not manually adjust the EQ. The preset settings work, but none of them sound good to me. Tried quitting the app, restarting the machine and no go. The MOST important thing to me is for the music to sound good and, well, it just doesn't. Can't revert back to iTunes either. Apple Music (macOS) equalizer stops working after skipping songs I have a custom equalizer preset created in Apple Music on macOS 14.4.1. I noticed today that if I am playing a song and then skip to another song (sometimes it takes a few skips), it will sound as though my equalizer is turned off -- everything begins to sound very flat. If I go to Equalizer, it shows that it is checked (on) and that my custom EQ preset is selected. If I try switching to a different EQ preset, or change anything, it does absolutely nothing to the sound. If I turn it off, no change. If I exit Apple Music and open it again, it starts working as expected. I believe this is a bug in Apple Music.

Switching audio output on apple music for windows When ever I change the output device on windows from wired headphones to wired speakers apple music doesn't update the output device. This also applies to bluetooth devices as well. Is there anyway to fix it or change it manually? Apple Music version: 1.4.4.41 Windows 11 Home version: 23H2
