Unable to change name in Contacts on a Family account

Me and my husband we have family account. Last month he changed my name to the name “my love”. But suddenly his iPhone changed it back to my own normal name Darya. He changed again and then iPhone changed back to my name. What’s the problem ? Maybe we need to turn off iCloud for contacts ? (Husband turned off the update of my post-card in contacts)

My child's Apple Account affects my contacts on iPhone my sons phone (he is 10) kinda thinks it’s mine. He’s got his own Apple-id. Setup as a child. It changed some of my contacts names, as it was written in his contact list. And other wired things.. we have a family calendar and now everything is written duble in my phone (when I tried to add him) I tried removing him, but it’s still like this. Contacts deleted using family Apple id I set my son up a new Apple ID, signed in on my old iPhone 11, his account it sits under my family on settings. When I deleted contacts off my old iPhone 11, it also deleted my contacts off my iPhone 14. can anyone explain to me why this happened and whether I can recover them? I’m so annoyed! That’s hundreds of contacts I know will need to add again. I do not understand when we have two separate Apple ID with different email addresses. The only thing linking us is because he’s under my family so I can set parental controls.

Child's Apple id has Mother's name and contact details associated with it. We have family sharing set up for our family. Everyone has their own apple id and email. But for our son's apple id, his apple id name is his mother's and his contact details are his mothers. If I go into his Contacts app and edit his card details will it also change my wife's contacts? Because it looks like it would. How can I safely change his name from mom's to his name without making a big mess? Each of them has their own apple id, but her name and contact details are the same as his for his account.
