Perhaps if you've recently updated your iPhone, there

likely is a period of time expected where the unit may

run warm or feel very hot at times, as the processors

update the iPhone systems and organize files, etc.

A few weeks may be required duration for this adjustment.

Settings for Safari and other bits, may need checked, and

reset, to affect power consumption, & heat generation.

Contact the store or Apple authorized service about this

situation, as they may have advice about any settings

that you could make; in the meantime hold it carefully.
