Safari crashes when I open the Web Inspector.

I am currently developing and running a web application using Next.js 15 and React 19.

The issue is that when I run the web app locally in development mode and open it in Safari by accessing localhost, as soon as I open the Web Inspector, the page completely freezes.

This only happens in the local development environment — it does not occur on the production site.

What’s particularly strange is that when I was using my previous Mac Mini with an M2 Pro chip, I never experienced this issue. However, after switching to a MacBook with an M4 Pro chip a few months ago, this problem has been happening consistently.

Has anyone else encountered a similar issue?

Any ideas on what could be causing this?

My macOS version : Sequoia 15.4.1
