Logic Pro out-of-tune / off-key after downloading files from dropbox Logic.x

I found one solution to this issue and wanted to share it since I didn't see much of a resolution or specific questions about this elsewhere.

My logic pro files were suddenly off key/out of tune after I downloaded them from my backup cloud (dropbox)

I even zipped the files etc.

Anyways I found out the issue: for whatever reason, after downloading them, my pitch/tuning plug-in was off kilter (in my case Antares Auto Tune) When I clicked into the plugin on the tracks, it technically showed the correct key, but the label was in italics which I guess means things went wrong somewhere ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyways, to solve this I went into my mixer view, selected the autotune plugin on each track that had them, then re-selected the key by clicking away to a different key then back to the proper one.

Example: It showed as F Major in italics, so I clicked away to D minor, then back to F Major, and then it looked and performed correctly thereafter. So this solved the issue.

Auto-tune plug in with bug/error:

Once reset/solved:

Even if you're not using this specific plug-in, if you're having a similar issue, I would go to one of the out-of-tune tracks, remove the plug in and see if it changes anything. If it does, I would go and reset the key away from what its supposed to be, then back to it's proper key, like I did for Antares.

Hope this helps someone
