MacBook Pro 2019 overheating and running slow despite battery replacement

My computer has been overheating (even when not in use), it will shut down randomly, and when I am using it, it's very slow. I thought it was the battery because it said my battery was low health so I had it replaced about a month ago, but that doesn't seem to have helped much. Now the battery will last longer but it still has the other issues. Thanks!

I did an EtreCheck and here is the report:

Low disk space - This computer is running low on free hard drive space.

disk0 - APPLE SSD AP0256J 251.00 GB (Solid State - TRIM: Yes)

Size: 250.69 GB

Free: 42.49 GB

Available: 68.21 GB

CleanMyMac X Menu

The inference here.

The user has tried to clean up the computer to make additional Free Space by using the CleanMyMac application which is sometime references a " BrickMyMac "

In either instance it seems to have not worked and has made a bat situation even worse

The are two schools of thought as to how to fix this

Remove the CleanMyMac application via the Developer Specific instructions

Then, to perform some serious house cleaning of unnecessary application, videos, music, photos etc etc

Or the other option which is not popular for some but is effective

Start Over from Scratch

For Apple Intel computers >>   Use Disk Utility to erase an Intel-based Mac followed by How to reinstall macOS

Always make a Time Machine Backup  before  proceeding

If going this route - I suggest Not using Startup Assist to migrate everything back.

This will probably Re-Introduce ( CleanMyMac ) back into the Operating System

CleanMyMac , aka “ BrickMyMac

New macOS Malware "Cthulhu Stealer" Targets Apple Users' Data

Un-Like Microsoft Windows, which does have “ Disk Cleanup “ and “ Defrag “ as part of their Operating System

Apple does not and are they required
