Vertical scrollbars in Safari do not show up any more. Gone. Period.

I just updated my MadOS to Sequoia 15.4.1, and as soon as I did that, it became impossible to use vertical scrollbars in Safari to scroll up or down on websites, or in Apple Mail. I can shift the cursor to mid-page and move everything, the entire page, up or down that way, but that seems like a pretty crude substitute for actual scrollbars. Is this doing-away-with the scrollbars considered an "Improvement"? It's a crude, time-wasting kluge, IMHO. Can I dump it and go back to using scrollbars, or will I need to drop back to MacOS 14 or 13?
