MacBook SMS and RMS Messaging Problems

Hello, my Macbook Air is receiving SMS and RMS messages forwarded from my iPhone just fine, but it will not send any messages to non-Apple devices or receiving my responses to non-Apple devices on my iPhone. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

SMS Messages not delivered from my MacBook Pro Suddenly messages sent to certain people that have always worked say "Not delivered" with an exclamation point. What to do? (This started when I bought a new 14" MacBook Pro using macOS Ventura). I can send/receive text messages from these same people on my iPhone, but not on my MacBook Pro. This is a repeat of the question asked by jc711 on 14 July 2022. None of the suggestions there help.

First, I accidentally wrote RMS earlier, but I meant RCS. Second, a friend helped me discover the problem. My phone was not set up to receive and reply messages from my Apple ID e-mail in addition to my phone number. Problem solved!
