I created a bookmark indicator for Safari

(posting here as apparently this has been asked by many users over the years, with no prioritization from Apple devs to implement this)

Last year I switched to Safari after using Chrome for ~15 years and was suprised to see that Safari does not show any indicators to let you know if the page you're visiting is in your bookmarks.

So, I created a Safari extension that puts a color configurable star icon in the Safari toolbar that does this. It also shows the bookmark folder locations when you click on the icon.

Available in the Mac App Store (search for Bookmarks Star for Safari)

Sorry if this is not allowed here but I think it can help people solve a frustrating issue.

Apparently Safari does not support the Bookmarks API which nearly all the other browsers support. If you know, please let me know if there are any other solutions for having a visual bookmark indicator.
