How can I fix Siri's brief responses on iOS 18.4?

Hello,

I updated my iPhone 16 pro to iOS 18.4 with the new apple intelligence feature. Since then Siri answers for a brief moment to my husbands “hey Siri” call. Is there a way to fix this?

Siri is not always giving voice responses after iOS 18 update Has anyone ever who has upgraded to iOS 18 since it came out noticed that Siri is not always giving you voice responses to your inquiries? if I ask anything from weather to sports scores, sometimes my device will just display the response and I will miss it because the notification because they disappear too fast. Why has Siri stopped reading my responses with iOS 18.3.1? When I ask Siri a question, "Hey Siri, is bronchitis a respiratory disease?" Siri will reply, "Here's an answer from medicinenet.com" and it show's at the top of the screen, a small extract from the website. Where Siri used to read back to me the information from the website. I have "Prefer Spoken Responses" in Siri enabled. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
