Why won't my camera focus after iOS 18.4.1 update?

Just upgraded to iOS 18.4.1 and now the main camera won't focus at all. The ultraWide and telephoto focus just fine. The main camera focused before the update.

Iphone 12 mini camera not focusing after iOS 18 update This is a long-time and well-documented issue. Some iPhone 12 mini cameras after the iOS 17 update stopped focusing. Since then most of the pictures are blurry. Today I very eagerly updated to iOS 18 and still the flaw remains. There is a slight change though. Before it could not focus at all. Now it is only focusing for pictures taken less than a meter of distance… beyond that is pointless. Below are some examples…

iPhone 12 camera is not focusing properly unless the zoom is set below 1x Up to now it has been fine, but suddenly my iPhone camera will not focus unless the zoom is set to below 1x. Any ideas on how to fix this? I’ve downloaded the latest update. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

I already restarted my iPhone several times but it doesn't fix anything.
