Mac mini M4 with Logic Pro unable to bounce to external disks due to permissions issue

NEW ! Mac mini M4 with Logic Pro won't allow bounce to external disks because of permissions.

I'm doing a clean install of apps etc and here I am dealing with this disk access ... Please why ?

Cannot write on external hard drive format Mac OS Extended Hi there, I have an external hard drive that is in the format: Mac OS Extended and made sure that permissions are set to Read & Write. However, the drive is NOT writable when using Macbook Pro (work) running macOS Ventura but IS when using another Macbook Pro (personal) running on macOS Monterey. Has anyone experienced this and found a fix?

Write access to FAT32 USB drive blocked under macOS Monterey I want to share a USB drive between a Windows computer and my Mac. Everything I read says that my Mac should be able to read/write to FAT32 or ExtFAT USB drives, but I can't write to them. I've tried the suggested fixes: Change the permissions Reformat the drive on my Mac Use DiskUtility First Aid to check and fix the drive but none of them work. I can read the drive but I can't write to it. I've tried a number of USB drives but I get the same problem. Here's a FAT16 drive. The permissions say: "You can only read", and there is no option to change this: Here's a FAT32 drive. The permissions say: "You can only read", and there is no option to change this: I even tried a NTFS drive formatted on a Windows computer on the basis that I might be able to install the drivers on my Mac to write to NTFS. But it doesn't look very promising. This time, it shows the permissions: But even when I click unlock and try to change these, I get a message saying that I don't have permission to change this! I do have admin access to my Mac - it's the only user on the Mac - so it doesn't make sense. It also doesn't make sense that my user's permission says: "Read & Write", but above it there still a message saying: "You can only read". It's like there is something overriding all of the permissions. I'm wondering whether it is some feature in Monterey. I'm running version 12.6: Does anyone have any suggestions?

Make sure you give Logic Pro permission to Full Access on your computer. Play with your Sharing and Permission on Applications and Logic Pro Folders and you should get there.
