Is an exported Safari Password list encrypted?

Is an exported password list from a MacBook Pro M1+ running Mac OS 14.7.5 to a .CSV file encrypted?

Trying to import from passwords from 1Password as CSV file. I am unable to import 1Password passwords into Mac Keychain but the csv file is greyed out. Using High Sierra 10.13. I have tried numerous times and it just will not work? I am using High Sierra 10.13.6. My Mac is about 12 years old. 27” Screen.

Hello msobol3,

No, the exported passwords are not encrypted when exported to a CSV file. You could zip it with a password, though. This discussion offers some ideas: How to password protect a zip on my macbo… - Apple Community.
