Since the upgrade of iOS to version 18.4, the Apple Intelligence “rewrite” option has become malfunctioning. This issue is particularly evident when I input a prompt into ChatGPT app and select “Writing Tools” > “Rewrite” to refine it before posting it. After that, the “Writing Tools” automatically minimise, and nothing happens (see attached screenshot). This problem has been particularly prevalent since the iOS upgrade to version 18.4.
