Why do Clash of Clans and Clash Royale bypass Screen Time restrictions on iPhone?

Clash of clans and Clash royale apps work no matter what the screen time settings. Yes they have been removed from allow at all times. No matter what you do, you cannot prevent usage of these apps unless you delete them entirely.

Downtime and screen time not working for all apps I have both screen time set up for app time limiting and downtime set up for daily ‘allowed times’ on my son’s iPhone 8. I am managing it from an iPhone 12 and both have up to date software. Generally it works well but there are some apps that don’t get blocked or limited - a handful of games and Reddit. You can see most get greyed out but not these. I believe all the settings are correct, they are definitely not in the ‘always allowed’ list and ‘block at end of limit’ is set up but everything else gets limited except reddit and these games. Why is this and how can I block them during downtime/screentime.

ScreenTime does not limit entertainment apps like YouTube or Discord I have read from multiple users having the same problem: When I use my child's Screentime , Downtime and App limits do not limit entertainment apps like YouTube or Discord. This seems like some type of hack that prevents it, because other apps are successfully limited. I have updated, uninstalled and reinstalled YouTube. I have deleted and recreated the app limits. I have turned the phone off and rebooted it. Any other ideas? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

How can I prevent Screen Time from misreporting app usage on iPhone? I’m having issues where Screen Time will add time spent on an app, when that time was never actually spent. This results in both the average time being inaccurate and time limits set on apps activating prematurely. (Ex: it will suddenly tell me my time is up without any prior notification, and I look at the screen time and random times for the apps will be shown in settings) I’ve shut off all background activity for the apps under the limits, I close out of the apps when I’m not using them and it still happens. We are having the same issue and my wife and I have attempted this on both our phones. We tested it on another app and it worked perfectly but it just won’t block Clash Royale on our son’s phone.
