How can I add albums to Apple Music on my iPhone 13 Pro Max?

I’m on an iPhone 13 Pro Max on iOS 18.5, I’ve downloaded the Apple Music app, the Device app and Apple TV app to my computer. My iPhone shows up in the Devices app but not the Music app. I just want to add four new albums I acquired. It seems to be impossible now. I assume it would be done in the Music app similar to how it was done before in iTunes. I see no way of doing it in the Devices app. How do I do this? iTunes was easier. One program instead of 3.

There isn't an Apple Devices application for the Mac, so I'm guessing that you are using a PC running Windows.

I have not skimmed the documentation, but if things work like they do on the Mac, you would import your albums into the Music application, then use the Apple Devices application to manually sync them to the iPhone.

(On the Mac, when Apple split up the iTunes application, the manual synchronization controls went into the Finder, while the stuff for importing and playing songs went into the Music application.)
