macOS MAIL app showing URL popup window when scrolling across an embedded link

Since updating to macOS 15.4.1 I now get a grey popup box displaying the full URL every time my cursor scrolls across an embedded link while reading the email. Never had this before. Looking for a way to disable this feature. It's occurring on all email accounts.
