ipad can't connect to itunes....missing ipod support service

I accidentally deleted Ipod support service and now can't get it back. My ipad will not connect to itunes to perform any functions. I have deleted and reinstalled itunes and there is still no support. It now doesn't even look for support when I run diagnostics where it would look for it and find it missing a few tries ago. How can I reinstall this important service.
