Apple Health Medication set for every 14 days puts reminder every day

I have a medication that I need to take every 14 days. I set it up yesterday (4/16) as:

When will you take this?

Every Few Days

interval: Every 14 Days

At what time?

10:00PM - 1 unit.

Today, on 4/17, when I look at my Log, I see this medication available with my other medication I need to take daily.

Since I set this up to be taken every 14 days, I have 2 concerns about seeing it today.

1) I will have to manually skip it, which just seems wrong

2) Since I'm manually skipping daily log events, I will have to manually track when I actually need to take the medicine, and that seems to defeat the purpose of the reminder.

I guess when I put in that I want to take this every 14 days, it would only show up on the log every 14 days, not every day.

Please advise if I am off base on my presumption on how the app should work.
