Apple Music library not auto-downloading on iPhone

My Apple Music sync on all devices are enabled, but still, I cannot auto download all my music, even though everything is perfect with the network, but still, I need to download one by one. It’s very frustrating.

syncing my music libraries it appears that the only way to sync my music library on my iphone to my ipad is to do something totally old fashioned with usb cables and Itunes or to subscribe to Apple Music. I have been subscribed to Apple Music and I have a suspicion that once I didn’t renew, Apple Music cleared the library on the ipad. (I am not sure though). Anyway this is totally unacceptable. Anyone with a modern solution using the hotspot of the iphone and not being obliged to subscribe to apple music?

How can I sync my music using the new Music app?? I just recently purchased the latest iMac and would like to sync the music that is currently on the app to my iPhone 14. Please, PLEASE do not tell me I need to subscribe to "Apple Music" in order for me to be able to sync. There just HAS to be another way!

Downloaded music not showing up on Apple Music library Downloading music to my iPad, seems to download fine. Go to play downloaded music only and the downloaded tab under library is missing. If you go to edit, it’s there as an option to have listed under the library tab but it doesn’t show up no matter how you have that set. It also seems that I can’t just hit play while offline and let it just play the downloaded songs. Literally as though they aren’t there. I have updated to latest iOS and have deleted and re installed the Apple Music app. I have all of our shared devices synced. I’ve done the best an aging gen x’er can do. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Go to Settings > Apps > Music and turn on Automatic Downloads. This won't download the music you already have on your devices, but will download music added to your Library in the future.
