Screen flickering, overheating, and search issues on iPhone after iOS 18.4 update

After updating my phone to iOS 18.4, the screen started flickering very often, something that never happened before.

It’s also overheating a lot more than usual.

In the gallery, “search” isn’t working properly: it shows fewer results than before the update, and some photos have incorrect dates. It’s been a few days since I updated, but the issues persist..

So, my question is: did anyone else encounter the same issues?

If you're experiencing screen flickering, overheating, or search issues on your iPhone 14 Pro Max after updating to iOS 18.4, these problems are often linked to software glitches, background processes, or hardware limitations.

To address screen flickering, try restarting your device, adjusting display settings, or reducing motion and animations in Settings > Accessibility > Motion.

Overheating can result from heavy usage, background tasks, or charging habits; consider closing unused apps, disabling background app refresh, and updating apps to minimize strain on your device.

For search-related issues, ensure your device is connected to a stable network, and check if Siri and Spotlight settings are configured correctly.

If these steps don't resolve the problems, consider contacting Apple Support for further assistance.
