iPad restored from iCloud backup unable to play music due to region

Got my new 13” iPad Air today. Set it up from a back-up in iCloud. I have dozens of tracks of personal music that there are no copyrights on that show up in my music app but when I click to play it says: "item is not currently available in your region or country". How do I get these files to play? I am a music teacher and these tracks are crucial in my teaching.

Music app says my own mp3 files are unavailable in my region? So I have an old CD-collection that I converted into mp3 files years ago. Just got my new macbook so I imported all the files into the Music app on the laptop and then I synced the entire collection to my iPhone. (I transferred the files by connecting a cable to my iphone and then I choose the option to sync my entire music library to the iphone.) I don't have a "music" subscription so I'm only expecting to play my own mp3 music on my iPhone for now. However now I have realized that some music is being prevented for playback. Like this old Lenny Kravitz album "Mama Said" there's track that are grayed out and I get the "This song is not currently available in your country or region". I mean, that would make sense if I was using the music streaming service from Apple, but I just hours ago copied all the MP3-files for this album to my iPhone. (Or at least that what I thought I was doing.) What am I missing here? Sorry for the bad english, I'm a Swede.

So sick of iPhone not letting me play my locally-stored music! For clarity: I’m not a member of Apple Music and never will be after hearing how they can replace your music files with their own. All the music I have on my iPhone is music synced to it from my laptop. I just want to play the music I bought on CD, imported to iTunes, and synced losslessly to my iPhone! WHY does my iPhone keep insisting on trying to play some Apple version of the track WHEN THE TRACK IS ON MY IPHONE?! “It’s not available in your region.” It’s MY music, which I bought, either physically or DRM-free from a store like Qobuz or 7Digital. I’m so, so sick of Apple’s micromanaging and desire to have a part in every little thing my device does.
