Curved monitor recomendations compatible with mac mini

Can anyone share their experience if they have a curved 34-40" Dell, LG Ultra gear or any curved monitor with a mac mini. I'm leaning towards the Dell 38" curved but read some bad reviews about compatibility and quality. TIA!

iMac 27″, macOS 10.15

I appreciate the response but my questions is geared towards those who have a mac mini with an external monitor. I have a late 2013 27" imac and may upgrade to a mac mini later this year and trying to decide which curved external monitor is best compatible with the mac mini.

Curved Monitors for a Mac mini:

A. Provide your Model Number:

Okay. So, what’s model of your monitor? If you provide that, you might be an answer.

B. What Monitor Would Work?

Apple does not make specifically curved monitors for the Mac mini. As for curved monitors that are of Dell brand, according to Bing, these would work.***

Here is a link found directly from these forums; it’s intended for a MBP, but the monitor provided is may outdo the capability, if you don’t you have the appropriate cables for it: What are the best budget curved monitors for MacBook Pro? - Apple Community

C. Best Use for a Curved Monitor:

As for the use of a curved monitor, those are best used in the corner of the room or of a desk because they would not gather heat as greatly as a flat monitor would.

1) Go to BestBuy and look real hard at the curved wide-screens compared to using a dual 24" or 27" setup.

a 38" curved wide screen equals about the same screen area as dual 21.5" displays.

2) The single USB-C cable for both Video and USB-C is a pipe dream. You will need to use two cables.

a high speed USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 for video and a USB-C cable for down stream USB devices.

or a high speed HDMI to HDMI 2.1 cable video and a USB-C cable for down stream USB devices.

FWIW I have two Mac mini's setup with dual display's. I tested a Dell 38" curved wide screen on one of those Mac mini's, but returned it and when back to dual display setup. Not because it didn't work, but because the dual display setup actually gives me more screen area to work in.

Curved Monitor Working on a Mac:

What's the model of your monitor? Look on the original packaging, and see if it is compatible with a Mac. If you don't have the origial packaging, lookup the model number, and see if it will work. Some will; some wont.
