Find My location sharing not working between family members on iPhone

I have an iPhone 16, my child has an iPhone 11 that is set up as a child’s device, and we are under a family. We were sharing location with each other without a problem but they deleted messages threads to have more space on their phone to make room for said update. Unfortunately, they are unable to reshare their location. I have tried factoring resetting phone and starting again. Checked all the settings making sure that Find My is on and all that. And still same error message saying “Share location is unavailable. Please try again later”.

Now on my end I somehow stopped sharing location with my sibling. Which I did not do at all, but is showing so since I did the update.
