i’m installing big sur on my macbook, it’s a late 2015 pro 13” and it keeps going from like 4hrs and 9 mins and after 15 mins it went to 8 hrs and 51 mins. i need help it’s 3:15 am and i’ve been staying awake trying to fix it i can’t do nothing.

I have found that downloads typically take about 45 minutes or so and another 45 minutes to install with several automatic restarts. The speed of a download is affected by your internet connection. Wi Fi is not recommended as it may be too slow for these very large files. i f you can, use a wired Ethernet connection and it should be just fine.
I think by now it should be finished, and you should also have slept. If it is not finished or if you have not yet slept please write back for suggestions.
