Why can't I find a purchased album in Family Sharing on Music?

I had the family organizer turn on family sharing and when I went on my mom’s phone on Music, I went to family sharing and did not find an album that I bought like a year before. Can anyone help me?

Is purchased music somehow excluded from family sharing? I have an Apple Music subscription too but it’s just an individual account so I know I can’t share that.

Purchases missing/not showing up in family share I have a new iphone 14 MP and 2 ipad minis. Family share is hit or miss. I've already used it several times. I bought an app yesterday on my iphone and it immediately appeared on the ipads. Just now, I bought an app (yes it has family share) and it won't show up on the ipads. I've found the only way to get it to work is to sign out and back into my iphone, but then I have to redownload 200gb+ of music since it will instantly delete my music library from my phone. Is there a reasonable solution to this issue? I also tried signing out of the ipad but that did not work.

Try searching for the album in the iTunes Store. When you find it, click on it like you want to purchase it (single click only!) and see if it says "Purchased". If so, re-download it. If not, and it asks if you want to buy it... is it possible it was purchased on an Apple account that's not part of the family group?
