How to transfer music from Windows PC to iPhone without Apple Music subscription?

I had only 30 albums on my iphone and windows pc in i-tunes, but lost access on the pc when forced to try apple music. To add insult to injury, Apple music failed to copy all tracks down on a few albums and indicated they were not synced although the rest of the album was. I could not fix this as I had no access on my pc. To get pc access to itunes I had to delete the apple music app and associated files. I now have all my albums back in itunes on the pc but nothing on my iphone.

Is it possible to get the albums on my iphone again to listen to without having to pay for a flaky apple music app to hear the albums I have already paid for!
