A Means to Adjust Finder Slideshow Delay

Finder slide show it great,

but its rapid pace is not inductive to use it for even direct viewing, let alone have it change at a pleasant scenery-changing pace.

Any way to adjust that?

Better, and AppleScript to allow setting of the delay!

Slideshow is an extension of Quick View.

If you select a group of (ideally) image files, you can run a slideshow of them where the Finder will display each image in full-screen mode along with metadata of filename, size, etc. (non-image files just show the file icon, so is less useful).

You can get it via the Option key when ctrl-clicking a file, or holding the Option key when clicking the File menu, or the key combo ⌘⌥Y. It toggles/replaces the Quick View menu item with Slideshow
