Safari tabs didn’t populate in my new iPhone

After moving everything over from my iPhone 12 Pro to my new iPhone 16 pro, all of the tabs in Safari are gone on the new phone, as well as all of the tab folders. Is there a way to restore them?

My open Safari tabs didn't copy across during a backup/restore I had a lot of open tabs in Safari on my iPhone 6s, which I had to backup and restore to an SE (2nd Gen) recently due to breaking the screen. I restored from backup today, and there are no tabs on Safari, it is completely empty. Why were the tabs not included in the backup? Is there a way to restore them?

Safari tabs and history gone I suddenly opened my safari and all my tabs were gone. I didn’t close them at all. This also never happened before, all my tabs were always there whenever i’d open Safari. Both public and private tabs are gone. And all the history on Safari as well (when I searched for a tab in recently closed, nothing showed. It was blank). I don’t know how that happened. How can I get my tabs back?? Thank you. For info, i have an iPhone 11 with iOS 17.4.1

I believe if you back up your iPhone to your Mac, restoring that backup to a replacement iPhone will restore all its tabs along with everything else. Provided you still have your old iPhone and you did not already overwrite its previous backups, then you can still do that.
