After Sending An Apple One Sharing Invite, No Invite Status Shows In Settings.

I have sent, as far as I can tell, an Apple One Family sharing invite to a relative's email.

the send butting never really did appear blue like most action buttons to.

The process looked like it worked, but there is no entry in Settings revealing the Status of the invite.

So I gather no invite was sent.

There seems to be some confusing instructions ... on such implies that the person has to be signed in

to their Apple ID to receive the invite ... this makes not sense ... I sent to an email. Should the invite

simply arrive at the person's email, and also show in my Settings?

Not really intuitive at this point, for me.

P.S. just to add here are some AI instructions that make no sense to me

Because I am sending via email. The instructions imply the person has to be right there in person

Does the invite go to their computer via the internet to their Apple ID Account, and NOT there email address?

Ensure the invited person is signed in with the correct Apple ID, check their device settings for invitations, and have the family organizer resend the invitation if needed.

1. Check the Invited Person's Device:

  • Sign-in:
  • Verify the person is signed in with the Apple ID to which the invitation was sent.
